I also was introduced to it by my brother-in-law. Since then, we have added it to our Thanksgiving feast. <br /><br />Sweet potato casserole was new to me also. My mom did the candied yams with walnuts and marshmallows. It was actually one of my favorites, but I haven't had it since I married and moved away. <br /><br />Growing up it was pumpkin pie. I never had sweet potato pie until I got married. My sister-in-law made us one.
