It’s time for Five Question Friday, hosted by Mama M at My Little Life. 1. Do you close the bathroom door when you are home alone? Nope.  At least not usually and (prepare yourself) I don’t always close it when I have company either!  But I have a valid reason.  I use the bathroom that can only be accessed through my bedroom. *IF* I use the “main” bathroom I tend to close the door whether there are others home or not.  That bathroom just feels more open and exposed and is positioned directly across from the window.  No one can see in but still I just feel better if that door is closed! 2. I haven’t participated in a Five Question Friday in months and months and well a really long time.  I decided to take a look at this week’s questions and decided I could do these.    1. Do you have siblings and are you close with them?   Yes, I have siblings.   Am I close to them?  Certainly not geographically.  And no not really, but they’re blood and I love them.   I’m just really lousy at being a sister. 2. Would you rather be slightly UNDER weight or slightly OVER weight? Hmmm, tough question.  I think I’d go for slightly overweight.  Maybe I’m just settling since I am more than slightly overweight but if I choose slightly overweight then I don’t have to lose quite so much as I would if I were to be slightly underweight. 3. Yes, I am aware that it is no longer Friday. It is actually Saturday evening.  I just never got around to finishing this up yesterday and I’ve been gone most of today.  I’m looking at a really busy but spiritually wonderful week.  I want to post this, even though it’s a day late, because I won’t be posting much this week. 1. What is your favorite sign of spring? The smell!  There is something fresh in the smell of the air.  I love how the smell in the air is different after the rain of spring versus the rain of winter.  It’s not just the scent of flowers trying to bloom but I can’t quite put my finger (or nose) on what it is. 2. What was your best birthday ever? Oddly the birthday that stands out as my best was supposed to be the worst.  For my 35th Birthday my husband deployed and my best friend moved.  Seriously!  My husband deployed 3 weeks before my birthday but wasn’t in the Big Sandbox until MY BIRTHDAY.  And my best  fri...

Do you still have your wedding dress?  Yes.  I don’t know how well it is preserved but it’s sitting in a box around here somewhere.  I have a daughter or two who wants to be able to wear it. 3. Is there a special place you like to go when you're happy, sad, stressed, etc.?  I have a place I’d love to go: the ocean.  I love the ocean.  I don’t get to go to the ocean as much I would like but it is where I would like to go when I am happy or sad or stressed or just need to ponder the Majesty of God.   4. If you have kids, do they sleep with you? If you don't have kids...will you let your kids sleep with you when/if you have them?  Do they sleep with me?  No.   Did they sleep with me?  Yes.   I had one who very rarely ever came to sleep with us and one who I wasn’t sure we would ever get her OUT of of our bed....

It’s been way too long since I’ve participated in Five Question Friday over at My Little Life .   These are fun, and since I am procrastinating and since it is Friday and who doesn’t like to have fun on a Friday, I’m participating today. 1. Here it is the 2nd of July and I’ve still yet to really see summer.  We’ve had a few nice days but today is cold, dark, dreary and rainy.  These questions from Mama M at My Little Life look like fun.  Check out her blog to see how others have answered these questions.   Questions for Friday, July 2nd : 1. What is one thing you miss the most about childhood?
